I’m here at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference in Washington, D.C. to meet with many of the partners who make Microsoft great and, in turn, help those partners be successful, working with them to build and maintain profitable businesses. In this spirit, I’m eager to share an exciting new offering for our valued partners called the Vertical ISV Partnership Program (VIPP). We’re offering this valuable, in-depth program to help our partners succeed in a cloud-first, mobile-first world, as we serve our mutual customers.

We are committed to helping developers and our partners be successful - we understand that Line of Business app developers today need to target and build apps for a broad range of mobile devices and the cloud. The VIPP program is an additional proof-point of that commitment.

Technology is changing customer engagement in many industries, especially Healthcare, Retail, Government and Manufacturing, where an app revolution is underway.  The market now demands context-aware apps that solve vertical-specific challenges. As applications become more ubiquitous in these industries, ISVs should be taking advantage of this momentum. To help capitalize on this trend, we’re here to help these ISVs quickly develop high-impact solutions.  The VIPP program has been created to give our ISV partners resources for developing enterprise mobility solutions that leverage Microsoft Azure, among other technologies.

Partners involved in VIPP benefit from hands-on support that ultimately results in accelerating a solution’s time to market. Participating companies receive access to Microsoft software and devices, frameworks to accelerate cloud adoption, development training and workshops, product roadmap discussions and personalized consulting, including go-to-market support. The program is available in 15 countries including the United States, Canada, Brazil, UK, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, France, Russia, Israel, India, Korea, Australia, China, and Japan.

A previous example of Microsoft’s ISV support is Cieba Solutions, a life sciences company that needed massive scale and computing power to help its customers to operate more effectively. By working with them to develop a solution deployed on Microsoft Azure, Cieba scaled their Helium solution globally and can more quickly access the deluge of data health care users need to get their work done in record time.

If you work at an ISV that serves one or more of the verticals listed above and you don’t currently have access to the Microsoft Marketing program, partner with us through VIPP.  You'll receive technical application development support on the Microsoft stack , as well as resources to help modernize legacy applications into the Mobile First, Cloud First world. Please email us at VIPPinfo@microsoft.com and we will put you in touch with our local teams to get you developing as quickly as possible.

Cheers,

Guggs
