Serious hoopla
Going to an event like Sunday’s game can be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Heck, half the fun may happen before and after the game and outside of the stadium. Have you ever wondered what the pilots of the Met Life blimp get to see as they circle endlessly over a sporting event? Well, our final update to Bing Maps for Sunday’s game includes aerial 2D and 3D imagery of University of Phoenix Stadium and the surrounding area. For a true “Blimp’s eye view” check out the stadium in 3D using the Bing Maps Preview app for Windows 8.1:
The updates also include new 2D imagery. You can get a great view of the playing field basking in the warm Arizona sunshine:
When game time comes, the stadium staff simply roll the field inside.
We hope you’ve enjoyed our updates and that they help you find your way to football’s greatest event or experience it from afar.
