Each week Bing Predicts picks the winners of every professional football game.  By every Wednesday, for the rest of the season, we’ll update our prior week’s results, share our upcoming week’s predictions on Bing and provide insights into how we make our picks.

Week 8 Predictions:

Week 8 features a Sunday night match-up between Denver and Green Bay, our pre-season pick of this year’s conference champs and big game adversaries.  Not to disappoint, both teams are 6-0 and appear poised for deep playoff runs.  Rarely is taking a 6-0 home team an upset selection, but such is the case here, as the Bing Predicts models ascertain that Denver will remain perfect with a win in a preview of their possible re-match in February.

New England will remain undefeated after a divisional match-up with Miami on Thursday night.  Kansas City wins the third of three games the league has scheduled in London this year.  Carolina remains undefeated with a win Monday night over an Indianapolis which hasn’t beaten a non-divisional opponent this year (0-4 out of division, 3-0 inside of division).

Here’s a rundown for the other 10 games in Week 8, all Sunday afternoon:

  • Arizona adds Cleveland to their list of wins in their Great Lakes tour, adding to their wins at Chicago and at Detroit.
  • Atlanta continues their resurgent season win a win over Tampa Bay.
  • Baltimore defeats a San Diego team which has lost all of its road games this year.
  • Cincinnati returns from a bye week and wins a tough divisional game in Pittsburgh.
  • Houston slips by Tennessee despite not having their starting RB.
  • Minnesota is victorious in another divisional road game at Chicago.
  • New Orleans makes it three in a row with a home win over East-leading New York.
  • Oakland defeats a New York team making its first long road trip of the year.
  • Saint Louis beats a San Francisco team which is winless on the road this season.
  • Seattle beats a Dallas team still missing their QB.

Week 7 Results:

Bing Predicts was 10-4 in Week 7, missing only the upsets by four teams (New Orleans, Jacksonville, Kansas City and Oakland) who had previously combined to have just 6 wins all season through six weeks.  The season record is now 67-38.
