Tomorrow night (Wednesday, May 29, 2013) the Zurich F# Meetup Group has a session on Embrace the Cloud with F#.
The next meetup of the Zurich F# Users will take place on Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at 18:45 at NetException GmbH (as usual). If you attend for the first time, make sure to have this announcement with you. It contains a correct view of the location (the view on Google maps is slightly wrong).
The first half hour will be for networking/socializing, with sandwiches and drinks included. After that, Pantelis Petrogiannakis will speak about Embracing the Cloud with F#. Pantelis is owner of Nessos Information Technologies S.A., an Athens-based Microsoft Gold Partner with ISO 9001 quality certification with focus on orchestrated business solutions. Nessos has recently completed their flagship product {m}brace. Written in F#, it abstracts the underlying computer infrastructure with a monadic approach to cloud computing. Thus, the developer can combine sophisticated algorithms with "big data" processing, rapid prototyping-style, without worrying about things like data locality, information exchange between nodes, or node failures.
